B'nai Yisrael is a Torah obedient congregation that is trying to restore the Hebrew roots to Christian believers in Y'shua, and also reach out to the Jewish community with the truth about Messiah.

We do not call ourselves Christians, instead we call ourselves believers in Y'shua, grafted in to Israel through Messiah Y'shua.

We are not a "Sacred Name" group, but we do attempt to pronounce His name. If that is the measure of a Sacred Name group, then all Messianics are guilty on this issue.

I personally say "YAHUWEH". It is simply Yahuda in Hebrew without the Dalet, phonetically "Yah'oo'wah".  We are not dogmatic on this issue, pronounce His name however you understand it to be. We are open to the leading of the Torah and the Ruach. When I was in the church I called on the name of Jesus, but now I use the term Y'shua. He understands our meaning very well and the intent of our heart.

We also have people in our congregation who use the names, Yah, Yahovah, Yahweh, Adonai, HaShem, Lord, God, Elohim, the list is endless. We agree that no one at this time knows how to pronounce the name of Elohim correctly. This issue has also been transferred to Messiah's name, i.e. Y'shua, Yahshua, Yahoshua, Jesus, Lord, Messiah, etc.

You cannot know what a group is like until you see for yourself. I challenge you to attend B'nai Yisrael this Shabbat and judge for yourself.

There is enough division and strife from the true enemy Hasatan. We as Messianic followers of Y'shua need to come together in unity as much as humanly possible; we need a community of common faith. On some issues such as this one, we need to agree to dissagree, remain Brothers and Sisters in Y'shua and filled with His Ruach Ha Kodesh.

Shalom and Blessings in Messiah Y'shua,
